Heading to AKL from BKK and found a GREAT deal with United points compared to cash price on Thai Airways… Combined with their $0.0188 per point sale recently…. #Winning! With that said, I LOVE AirNZ!

Awesome insights! I mean I knew there were some reward programs down here but I never really had a deeper look into it. I find it quite hard to find a suitable program if you are not based in your home country as I cannot sign up to a different bank card on the other side of the world just like that without residing and then when I use my CC from back home I incur fees which never make up for the points I collect. Still don\’t know about any good programs over in my home country Germany that would get you far.. Lufthansa has a reward program, but they don\’t even fly all the way to Australia.. Lucky you North Americans!

I remember when I was in Australia last year, I came across some prepaid Visa gift cards in a supermarket. I didn’t experiment with it. Are there any manufactured spending opportunities in Australia?

I’m in Australia and was excited about doing some points hacking then I realised I don’t have a credit card, rarely shop at supermarkets and don’t drive a car. I’m screwed 🙂
