I’m 60+ and life continues to confirm to me that with the absence of challenging ourselves to learn and explore new experiences, life goes fast. It’s a paradox. Personal striving with gusto and achievement in whatever makes you feel alive makes for a fuller life. Looking back you are surprised at how much can be achieved and then look forward to the future. Life slows down because your ‘growing’ quickly.
P.S. Loved my first visit to China so much I’ve been back a few times. Disappointed that Covid-19 has caused me cancel trip from Xian to Kashgar, including the Gobi Desert.

I look forward to hearing Mark speak at TravelCon.

Sometimes hope is a factor that stops us from taking control of our lives.
We think that things will come to us and we stagnate, we do not do anything waiting. It is better that hope be an engine and not an anchor. Having hope, should impel us to reach our goals. Do not stop and think that things will come to us.
Traveling, I think that little by little we reject this concept of hope. Without a doubt the best way to grow personally at all levels is traveling.
I think there is no perface way to go. Either alone, with families, with friends or with a partner, each trip has its moment and its consequent learning.
In general, whenever I spoke with someone who feels empty, trapped or bored, I give him the same advice. Travels
They do not have to be expensive, sometimes it’s enough to rent a car and get away for a weekend.
